Posted on by 65

One of our Customers asks how to add tax on PO purchases after the PO is committed or even after the invoice is received and the Custome realizes tax on the purchase has not been recorded. The Customer uses Dynamics GP 2010.

I would agree with Frank. Sales Tax does not affect the cost of the item it only increases the invoice amount. Just make sure your sales tax ID's and schedules are set up and then apply them to the invoice. For future PO's and invoices just set up your tax schedules ahead of time and you should be all set.

You should be able to add the Sales Tax at the Invoice Match.
