Negative remaining quantity for negative adjustment - does not allow to close inventory period

There is a negative remaining quantity for a few negative adjustments (item ledger entries). The system does not allow to close the inventory period as a result of these negative open adjustments. Does anyone know a solution for this?

Negative remaining quantity for negative adjustment - does not allow to close inventory period

Add positive transactions (Positive Adj, Purchases ) to the respective items. Remaining quantity field of the ILE will be cleared and applies accordingly.

Hi, If you are encountering the error below, unfortunately this is by design. You must adjust the inventory to a positive number or 0. It is recommended that you adjust the inventory to the second month.

The Inventory Period cannot be closed because there is negative inventory for one or more items.
