I am trying to understand if we can track Appointments from the Outlook App into D365. Basically, can we create an event (appointment) in Outlook mobile app and then track it to D365? This is possible on client side in Outlook for us but do not see this option on the mobile app. Any insight on this would be helpful.

Can you confirm few details.
Is it CRM Online/Exchange online configuration ? If not, version of CRM/Exchange.
Are you using IOS device/Android device , please provide version of the device and can then confirm if it is supported or not.

As far as I know, you cannot track an Appointment using Dynamics 365 App for Outlook from your phone.
The only possible way is to create an Appointment in Dynamics 365 Mobile App, which syncs back to Outlook.
