System Message 6124 Bug

Posted on by

I believe I have found a bug in Dynamics SL 2015 (version 9.01.30423.01). Twice we have encountered an issue where my CFO goes to process batches and gets this error:

System Message 6124: Process started: Tue Dec 08 01:22 P.M.

Module: 'PA'

Batch: '0000042651'

Processing: Module: 'PA' , Batch: '0000042651'
System Message 3011: is not in balance and not posted.

System Message 6125: Process ended: Tue Dec 08 01:22 P.M.

What has happened is that even though the Control value in the 01.010.00 screen shows the correct number, the database value is 0. If she sets the Control value on the 01.010.00 to a different number (we used 1) and then saves, the next time she goes to the screen it has the correct Control value and the database has been updated.

Some additional detail:

The fields CrTot, CtrlTot, CuryCrTot, and CuryCtrlTot would all be 0 in the BATCH table. Once she entered in a different number and saved, these fields would then have correct values.

Did you ever find a resolution for this post?  We're having the same issues.  We're on DL 2015 CU2.

    Thanks

Can you tell me what kind of PA batch this is for?  We have seen the issue in revenue recognition batches.

Also, if you can provide exact duplication steps we can see if this is a known bug or if it is a new bug that will need to be written up.

We are having the same issue.  We are processing revenue recognition; we try to post the batch in general ledger : post transactions and we receive an error that the batch is not in balance.  I query the BATCH table and all the fields lived in the previous post have a value of zero.

I believe this may be a bug as well.
