What are configuration requirements for SQL 2000 for RMS 1.2 on a new XP machine?

Scenario:

We have two XP machines working very well with RMS 1.2 in our shop. One is the Server (SQL2000) and the other is the storefront machine. We want to now move the RMS databases to the front XP machine and turn "it" into the Server. Both machines can access the RMS POS 1.2 system as clients.

What we've done:

1) We moved the SQL databases over to the Storefront PC

Where we're stuck:

1) Unsure what additional installation requirements exsit (e.g. do we need to install SQL Server 2000 on the target XP machine?

2) Where could I find installation instructions. I am familiar with SQL administrations, but curious what specifically we need for RMS 1.2.

3) Is everything I need on the RMS 1.2 instalaltions CD (e.g. SQL 2000), or should I be looking at obtaining another set of SQL installation media (what are the free options?)
