Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

The credentials must have impersonation or delegation permissions on the mailboxes associated with profile. Which rights should be given in exchange exactly?

Posted on by 35

We are having D365 at our one of client. We are having CRM on premise and exchange on premise. For sending and receiving an email we are using an option of "Credentials specified in email server profile" and we are using one id by which mail will be processed. However it will sent using user's name and user will also receive any reply for it.

Can we know what exact rights we will have to give in exchange for the user id's for sending and receiving an email. we need exact rights so that we can process both incoming and outgoing emails.

Thanks in advanced.
