Setting Start Time in Schedule Assistant via URL

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I can call the Schedule Assistant via a URL and set the parameters documented in this post

However, I can set the start date but I can't work out the format for the start time. I've tried appending a time element to the date parameter ("start") using different variations of the time format but all attempts seem to invalidate the date (e.g. "2018/01/01T09:00:00Z") . I can't see any mention of a parameter to support just the start time so wondered if anybody had any success with this?

TIA.

Thanks for the reply Thomas. I've tried numerous different time formats including those you mentioned, but the Schedule Assistant doesn't seem to accept anything other than a yyyy-MM-dd parameter for the start time e.g. xsandbox.crm4.dynamics.com/%257<instance>%7D/WebResources/msdyn_/fps/ScheduleBoard/ScheduleBoard.html#id={<Guid Id>}&etn=x_booking&resourcetypes=1&ignoretraveltime=1&start=2018-01-01

Looking at the msdyn_/fps/ScheduleAssistant/ScheduleAssistant.js file, it doesn't look as though there's a parameter specifically to set the time element so either I haven't hit the right format or it will only accept the date part.

    Hi G Owen,

I'm going to have a stab at a solution your problem.

When messing around with Time Groups I noticed that CRM takes different time zone formats depending on where you are from.

For example in United States the DateTime format supported '4:00 PM' but didn't support '14:00'

And for the United Kingdom the DateTime format supports '14:00' and not '4:00 PM'

Maybe deepening what your CRM is set as it may take different date time formats
