we are new to RMS 2.0 and already have what seems to be a problem. we have taken on a new vendor and would like import their inventory information from an excel file. realizing i am a newbie but where is the import wizard where we can format this new data into our RMS. thanks, mike

Hi Mike

There is an RMS tool to do this but it is very limited and I wouldn't recommend it. There are several add-ons that would accomplish what you require but the best one I have found is called Data Management and is part of the RMSynergy range available from Davidson Richards in the UK (if you are in the US I think you can get it from Positive Technology).

This not only imports data from spreadsheets but does a host of other things such as allowing bulk editing of data. The great thing about the import part of it is that you do not have to get all your suppliers spreadsheets into one format, the tool allows, and remembers, different spreadsheet formats for each supplier.
