Inventory Closing including the Physical value for Weighted Average inventory model

I have a client that doesn't want to do inventory closing because they always want the weighted average cost to include physical value. Is there a setting I can use to overwrite the default of only considering the financially update value during inventory closing?

Hi,

These is not specific setup to control include physcal from inventory closing process. I think When you do inventory recalcuation it is going to consdier only financial value for weighted average calculation by design itslef .

Hi,

Inventory closing is advised at least to be done once a year by Microsoft even there is no posting.

Also as far as I know there is no way to fulfill this need.
