Customising out of the box activities and the social pane

Why are some out of the box activities not displayed on the social pane? eg: Fax, Service Activity and Campaign Response.

Why are some out of the box activities only created by the system and have no create option in the system? Eg Social Activity?

Is there anyway to customise out of the box activities? eg: Allow Fax, Service Activity, Campaign Response and Social Activity to be created via the Social Pane? Can Ribbon Workbench could do this?

Is there anyway to not show custom activities on the social pane? Again can ribbon workbench help here?

If none of the above is possible how have you worked around the above out of the box limitation to achieve good functionality and usability?

Hi,

You can't customize social pane in supported way. The behavior you are observing is expected. You can refer the below blog to go for a workaround of having a custom button 'Add Activity' on the top of the form
