Professional Services Tools Library install

Posted on by 390

Today I went through the installation process for the professional services tools library, which was not very intuitive for a non-IT guy with the directions given.  That said I must have messed something up.  Now when I try to open the PSTL I get the following error.

"[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]EXECUTE permission denied on object 'zDP_TA00860SS_1', database 'dynamics', owner 'dbo'."

How do I correct?

I know this is an old post, but this worked perfectly. Thanks

Try running the grant.sql script in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics\GP\SQL\Util directory.  Run it against the dynamics and company dbs.
