Storage APIs from Dataverse - Relevance for MSM customers

Dear Community,
I think this new update from platform may be of interest to the MSM customers and applicable as part of the governance controls to manage/control the storage.
As you may be aware, we provide a view in PPAC (Power Platform Administration Center) that shows the storage trends (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/capacity-storage) of the dataverse at tenant and organization/environment level across the 3 storage types (Database, Files, Log). However, one needs to regularly tap on to this view to check /monitor the storage growth vis-a-vis to the storage entitlements. Not doing so, can cause an impact of operational issues and IT has to resort to the last-minute jugglery of deleting/ archiving/ or purchasing the additional storage.
To address the challenges with manual governance control, platform has now released admin APIs capability to get storage warnings by defining your own thresholds. IT teams may build automations to notify the teams on nearing the storage thresholds (as defined by you) using the below APIs.

it should be possible as this is per environment setting. Let me know with any examples if you are stuck somewhere. We can get it checked with concerned PMs from Power Platform admin teams. or, alternatively you may check in the Power Platform admin communities as well. https://community.powerplatform.com/

Can we define varying thresholds for storage warning notifications depending on the environment (e.g., production vs. test environments) or based on priority?
This adds flexibility to adapt to different organizational needs.
