Hello guys,
I was told about a problem with the standard field filter. It appears when you enter "Ctrl + G" buttons on the form. I haven't checked it yet as this task hasn't been yet approved but according to the description when user presses "Ctrl + G" and enters some value to the field it works fine. If user then erases the value and enters another one the client is frozen and they kill SQL query on the SQL server. How does this standard field filter work? What method sequence works in AX or does AX go directly to SQL server with this filter?

Are you on an old aX2012 build?
If you are, then have a look at the hotfixes released on LCS to ensure that you did not run into a bug.

1. Take ax trace and you could analyze further.
2. Check if any slow query or blocking in the sql side.
Can you tell more about the SQL details? Do you have some information about the behavior from monitoring and telemetry which you can share?
