Have you read the documentation on how to use the Vendor Combiner in the PSTL?
You can't modify and combine the vendors from the same file. You have to go through and create a file that only has the vendors you want to modify first. Your file should have an "old vendor ID" and a "new vendor ID". Run that first.
If you have vendors that you wan to combine after the ID is modified, then you can either do them separately or you can create another TAB delimeted list for those.

Thanks again Aaron. When I run the modifier the results tell me the destination vendor already exists. Then I ran the combiner and it tells me Source Vendor not found. Any ideas?
You click on import and it should do both for you.

Thank you. After you validate do you import or convert?
My preference is to modify the ID's first, and then combine the ones that need to be combined. I do everything from an excel spreadsheet (which gets turned ino a TAB delimited file) so it isn't really too much extra work. I have found that I am less likely to make a mistake this way.
