View Designer + Fetch XML xrmtoolbox

Hi,

I have a system view and for the related entity i want a "does not contain condition" which i am unable to edit in solution.

So i thought of using view designer and fetch xml in xrmtoolbox.

Steps i took, open view designer-> open the view-> edit query in fetch xml->return the fetch xml ->save and publish from view designer.

But for some weird reasons the results are as below, please suggest what is going wrong and how can i achieve the Does not Contain condition:

1) View is no longer visible using advance find

2) In my Solution if i look for view it is present but no Edit Query option.

3) If i navigate in CRM to the entity views then i can see the view but no result, not even on refreshing the grid or page.

4) If i use the advance find from this view then i can see the updated query and on pressing results all the data also.

For achieving 'does not contain' condition in a view for the related entity , it is applicable from the solution customizations but by start with the relationship lookup and then there will be an optionset with related items , below an example for a view from contact entity and related account.

Second point for the unexpected behavior by using the xrm toolbox plugins , please make sure you are update the desired view by checking both name and id of the view and also you can double check this by create a new view from scratch with a unique name to see if same behavior can reproduced or not.
