Search for keyword on Twitter shows more results as search topic of MSE

Hello everyone,

I am new here and sorry for my bad English. I need to solve one problem with search topic of MSE. My keyword is "Airflusal". I put the wort in different  forms into the keywords like (Airflusal, AirFluSal or #airflusal). 

When I search the keyword on Twitter without login I can see 169 results with Airflusal, but on MSE only 6.

Did somebody have similar problem?

Are they any special cases I need to use?

How can I configure MSE to get all posts from Twitter?

Do I need to be logged on with my Twitter account on the MSE to get all results?

    Hi Levon, As Ian mentioned correctly, Search topics (and rules) of MSE are not retrospectively, This means that you will only see Posts in MSE Analytics as well as social center that are published after the search topic is created. (also if your timeframe is set to last month as shared above). The quantitative and qualitative feedback for search preview on the other hand provide and estimate of the expected volume and surface Posts that are published within the last 30 days. Be Aware that these are not stored in MSE and will not be acquired when saving the topic. The core value of the preview is to enable you to get an insight on what you can expect and to validate if your phrases are correct.

    On you other question above. if your search topic is saved, you will get all Posts from twitter matching your criteria.

    on my dashboard I can see only the one result. Also another timelines show me nothing. only one result while the previews search shows me 6 results. 

    It shows the same one result also from 2014 until today.

    Why can I see only the one?

    You can get all of the results from twitter it's just they won't be in the search topic preview. Also the search is not retrospective so it will gather data from when the search is setup moving forward. the data you query in twitter may include history that you don't have in SE. It can take a bit of adjustment to get your search setup correctly, adding inclusions and exclusion and searching whole posts rather than just titles.

    Since is it not possible to get all the results of Twitter?

    Can I maybe change some Settings ore use other tactic of search to get more results?

    With which mechanismus does MSE search on Twitter?

    Hi,

    the number it provides when you setup the search doesn't really match the number of posts on twitter. Its more of a rough estimate based on your query of the number of posts you'll gather per month. Its designed to help you keep below your monthly quota not as a mechanism to report the actual number of posts you'll pick up.
