Expense report is switching users to another entity

Hi,

We have 3 users when trying to create an Expense report is Canada or USA or UK, they are all switched to another entity (Asia) which is the first legal entity in the list.

It happened a couple of months before; We were able to apply a bad workaround: deleted the user account and recreated it. It is not working now.

Any idea ?

Hi,

This error you are facing is because of the employee setup issue.

Currently the user is only created in the APA legal entity.

Please check if same user is created in the other legal entity or not.

In order to create the create a Expense Report, an Employee must be created in the legal entity and the same must be mapped to the specific user.

No we don't have a customization at that level.

It is switching in APA legal entity but non one of the user is created in APA, the system is switching to APA just because it is the first list of our entities (alphabetic sort)

I opened a ticket with Microsoft, they are NOT able to reproduce the error and they requested a Trace file, I run it but I'm not able to download it from PROD as I don't have the download button (even with a sysAdmin) usually I run Trace file only from Lower environments.

Hi Kamel,

The users are setup in a global table. Using User options, they can set a default company. An administrator is also able to manage the user options. Check if the APA company is the default instead of the USA company.
