What happen when I reverse a receipt from Posted Purchase Receipt in Navision 2018?

Posted on by 4,359

Hi,

I would like to understand what happens after I select undo receipt at Posted Purchase Receipt.

What will happen to the items and the amount?

Will the posted Purchase Receipt still there?

What happens to the GRN after the receipt was undo? Will it still exist in the database?

Thank you!

    Hello Josh,

When the Undo Receipt is used, the Items will be posted in the same way but with the opposite sign, in the Posted Purchase Receipt, as described in the following documentation:

Undo a Posting by Posting a Reversing Entry - Business Central | Microsoft Docs

The Posted Purchase Receipt will still exist in the Database, with the line Receipt and the other line that was reverted with this function as you can see in the example below:

    Hope this information is helpful.

    Kind regards,
