I have a problem and I don't know where to start and find my answer. We purchased a new IBM register in 2009 with the POS printer and pole display. We also have IBM registers purchased a few years earlier.
Our problem is, when we print the standard receipt on the new POS printer, about 95% of the text prints on the first line and the last 5% prints on the next line. When I use the same receipt template on our older POS printers, they print on the same text on one line.
Is there a configuration file somewhere which tells the newer POS printer to print wider than the 2.75 inch paper? I can make the text fit the paper by changing the 2.75 inch paper width to 2.4 inch, but that doesn't make sense to do if they are the same printer.
Any help would be appreciated.
