Navision Error Message

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi there! I have recently created a new company in the Navision and created a new overseas customer. I am entering the sales invoice and an error message "You do not have permission to run Cust. Invoice Disc. table" May I know whats wrong with this error message? I have pretty much full permission as I checked.

If you are not using "Cust. Invoice Disc." (Customer > Invoice Discount) functionality, you may remove the unwanted data available in Table 19 - "Cust. Invoice Disc." and system should work without any required permissions. As you have created new company, there might be unwanted data in this table (if you have not created already).

    OR

You may require to arrange for the required permission for this table.

As error message clearly mention, you do not have related permission for the related table. Ask the user who has the SUPER permission to add related permission to you.

Go to := Departments/Administration/IT Administration/General/Users and select your user profile and add the permission.

    Hey Ray,

You don't have a SUPER right that means there's some customize permission that has been assigned to you, so either you need to add this Table in your permission set or else if you can get SUPER right then it will be a Master permission to you and you will never get such errors in Future.

On a safer side and as suggested by Alexander you can go and cross-check that your License grants permission for accessing that table.

Such error message means that the user either does not have enough permissions to access the table in the message, or your license does not cover that table.

First, check and assign SUPER role to yourself and check if the issue resolves (go to Users - and check the User Permission Sets tab). Later you can degrade the level of user rights if SUPER is not allowed by tour policy.

you should assign the required permission with the help of system admin.

    It'll definitely work.

So please ask the SUPER user to add the permission to the table Cust. Invoice Disc. in the Role and assign it to you. The above error message means you don't have permissions to read that table.

    Ray,

Do you have SUPER permissions ?

Go To Departments/Administration/IT Administration/General/Users and select your user and in the User Permissions Tab let us know what permissions do you have ?
