Field of the type "Research" on multiple entities like regardingobjectid in Activity

Hello,

I would like to create a field that point to the main field of multiple entities. The entity "Activity" does it with it's regardingobjectid field. But when I try to do the same with my entity, I have to select one and only one entity.

Is there a way to create a field that acts like the regardingobjectid?

Short answer is No. Only Customer Lookup is available for the Account and Contact.
