Mail - why CRM shows always this code in a create mail for a customer: CRM:0019029

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello together,

I have a question.

We have introduced Microsoft CRM in our company. At the moment we want to learn the functions for create a mail for the customer.

I got a test mail with a code like  CRM:0019029 in the subject.

Can you send mails without this code? For the customer it isn't nice to see this code in the subject.

Many thanks for the support.

Best regards,

Patrick

As HIMBAP said we can turn off the tracking. but in case if you want the track the email thread of any particular issue or topic then we cant get it. General practice is instead of turning of, companies prefix letter like SUPPORT or any custom values. Auto running number also useful to know how many emails have been sent from the system.
