Hi,
we have the need to use certain "information lines" that need to appear on the Quote, Sales Order, Inventory PIX and Posted PIX.
This line is an information/instruction code that is required to be seen by Order Entry personnel, Warehouse, and customers.
For example: "I-REPAIR" is listed on the Quote/Sales Order/PIX/Invoice etc. and it shows that items below that line are not supplied in them selves but are actually installed in another item. (thus for instance the warehouse personnel know not to pick these pieces as they would have already been used in the repair of another item.
I currently have them set-up as inventory value Zero, they incur no-cost and have no sell price.
We have been using them this way for many years and have about a dozen such 'information codes' I our system.
My problem is that when the Sales Order goes for approval, these items always go for approval due to line discount limit of 100% discount.
I have tried turning on and off the following:
-inventory value zero (makes no difference),
-sell price of 0.01 (which I don't want as this charges customer),
-created from non-stock (then does not go on the pix).
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

When the document goes for approval, it is not automatically approving the document due to this sales line. in the approval it shows this result for this product
limit type = Line Disc. limits
Item No. = I-Assembly-1
status = open
discount/margin limit % = -100
zero item price = ticked
The item is not set to 100% on the sales line as the item has no sell price or cost and is marked as 'inventory value zero' in the item card set-up.
Hi,
The approval process considers the entire document for approval. Do you mean that the amount limit doesn't consider the 100% discount?
