Upon opening RMS Manager and loading the item list for the first time, if you type an ILC into the ILC field it won't recognize all of the items in the list unless you re-sort the list by ILC.

This only happens on the Manager item list. I can use the POS application on the same machine and bring up the Item List with no sorting issues at all.
Hi Jeff,
I have tried the Manager | File | Configuration | Options tab | General | Don't remember list sorts, both checked and unchecked with no difference.
Also, we re-index and check db twice a week, every week.
Thanks!

Find works in Manager too.
How do you have the Manager | File | Configuration | Options tab | General | Don't remember list sorts check/unchecked?
Have you ran a databse re-index and a check yet in Admin?
Hi Shawn,
We don't use 3rd party customizations or any add-ins. Thanks for the tip on the find window, but this is in the Manager application so I don't think that would apply.
Hello Josh,
That sounds like an issue with a third party customization. I would recommend testing on a sample database, and otherwise, you could use the "Always use the find screen for items" option in Store Operations Manager (File | Configration | Options). This would help prevent any mistaken items from being added to the transaction.
Best Regards,
Shawn with Microsoft Retail Support.
Hi Ed,
The Item List is initially sorted by the Item.ID and ItemClass.ID fields in ascending order. And typing into it for the first time, even though the dialog box indicates you are searching based on ILC, returns information in order of the Item.ID and ItemClass.ID field in ascending order until the dialog box is resorted.
Thanks
Is the item list initially sorted by another column say description?. Tried to reproduce on my test system but couldn't.
