Batch Posting Errors

What seems to be the problem?
 
We're always getting "Posting Date is not within your range of allowed posting dates." in the batch posting queue
even if the posting dates in general ledger setup is from May 1 to May 31 and the allowed posting of the users are specified as well.

    you must temporarily expand the allowed posting date ranges in both the General Ledger Setup and User Setup to accommodate the full schedule of any deferred posting dates, or ensure the specific background user running the queue has appropriate date permissions assigned.

    Im sure that no deferrals is involved, since the posting is for retail receiving (inventory).

    This is known situation when you run batch posting through job queue or automation.

    The problem is that SYSTEM.AUTOMATION it is not a real user and it does not inherit the posting date range from GL Setup or from your normal user setup. It needs its own record.

    Go to User Setup and check if SYSTEM.AUTOMATION exists there. Most probably it is missing or has wrong date range. Add it with correct allowed posting dates for May and try again.
     
    Also because I see BACKOFFICE source code and Retail Receiver, if you use POS integration check if there is separate posting date configuration in the retail setup - sometimes this has its own restrictions independent from GL Setup.
     
    The GL Setup dates they are correct, the users they are correct, but the automation user it is the one causing the problem. This is where to look first.
