Hi all,

I want to configure the number sequence for journals based on the calendar. For example, for the month of October, I want the voucher number to be 25-10-0001, and the counter should reset at the end of the month. A new sequence should then be generated for November, starting at 25-11-0001.

In the system, I found in the scope parameters section the following options: Company and fiscal calendar period / Legal entity and fiscal calendar period

I tried both options (Company and fiscal calendar period and Legal entity and fiscal calendar period), but when I try to assign this number sequence to the journals, it doesn’t appear in the list.

What should I do? Could someone help me check if there's a missing setup or configuration?

Hey,

I believe this will require a customized number sequence. You should involve a developer and share your requirements with them to create a custom number sequence for this purpose.

Hi @IA-15041016-0,

For the scope, the parameter settings only accept scopes that have only had the value “company”.

if you want to use the others scopes you need to customise the STD.

Whenever you want to validate whether particular number sequence will support the segment or not, you can first validate from this page:

Segments for Fiscal Calendar period are in use for specific processes, and in other cases, to specific countries.
