Custom check layout using Microsoft Report Builder

Hi all, I am trying to custom check in BC by exporting a  file RDLC and edit in Microsoft Report Builder. I am able to move and delete. In case to write expression, is it only done by a developer?  If so, how can I contact them?

Thank you,

If you require a developer, and don’t have in-house skills, contact your Microsoft partner. You don’t need a special license to write expressions. It is just know how. If you have a specific expression in mind perhaps a forum user can assist

    Hello,

In RDLC are you trying to add an Expression field to appear or some calculation or action? Since this is a Check normally Companies are adding field. In the RDLC screen, on the right is a folder called Datasets. You can located the field and drag to the check. Here is an image of that:

After: - I dragged CheckNoText to the image.

Now I can save and upload to the Custom Report Layout and add this to the Report Selection Layout page.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Kemi,

I located the field in the RDLC Dataset list and clicked on the field and dragged it to the location in the Check.

    Thanks,

    Steve
