Item journal postings

Posted on by 530

I have an item with zero inventory and zero cost but a negative value in three different locations. Drop, warehouse and office.  How do I eliminate the negative values in the item journal or revaluation journal?  I am on the average costing method.

You can consider posting a positive adjustment in item journal for the location where it is showing negative quantity with value as zero.

Are you using Directed Put Away & Pick on the location where you have negative quantity? If so, you will have to use warehouse item journal.

I will send object to your mail.

I'm not sure about correctness od these informations from your report. I don't know what customization of report is it.

Because of that, I like to get information with standard report.

If you are not comfortable with objects, please export to Excel all Value Entries and Item Ledger Entries related to this item and send it on my mail:

If you have not field 'Include expected cost', that this is modified object. In standard report, there are not exist vatiant, location and detail fields on option tab.

I will send you in mail attachment standard report. What is your mail?

Try to import this report to your database and run them. Please, first make backup of your current object as fob.

Have you tried the Application Worksheet? Unapply all entries and reapply them again, and then run the Adjust Cost-Item entries job, that always worked for me in those situations.
