Dear all,

I am wondering if the display in the power platform admin center is "incorrect" of if I misunderstood something here.

This user has a Finance + SCM Attach license. Because Finance acts as a base and SCM can be an attached one

The same user appears as over-licensed. In PPAC it is identified that we have 13 attach SCM licenses.

However, here it is displayed as if the user has a Finance and SCM attached, which is not true, as displayed above in M365 admin center. So, I would expect here to see Req. License = SCM \ Assigned = Finance, SCM Attach. The user shouldnt be in the over-licensed tile.

Do you agree, or have I missed something?

Hi Adis,

From your point of view, I fully agree with you. Note that the licensing report is not aware of the fact that a base or attach is assigned. For that reason, the report now mentions that Finance is not required.

In your scenario, in case you don't have a base SCM, then your current assignment of a Finance base license and SCM attach is correct. You can ignore the report line for the user being over-licensed.

I assumed the system is not differentiating between a base and attach license.
