One of our user tried to change the home page from 2 col. to 3 col. It fails to do change to 3 column.
I have a power user access and I also could not change the home page to 3 col.
Is this a bug?
If yes, has it been added for future fix???

Development was hoping to have it fixed in the Dynamics GP 2018 RTM, but it didn't make it, so, I'm thinking it may be the R2 release for GP 2018 but we haven't seen or heard anything where I can confirm or guarantee that.
This is a documented issue with Dynamics GP 2016 R2 where the Column Stack Position on the Home Page doesn't look at the values or settings, so everything gets put into one column on the Home Page.
Looking at my Dynamics GP 2018 RTM environment, it doesn't appear this got fixed in the RTM release and we don't have a definitive date or release as to when this will be fixed.
I know I've tried manually changing the SY08000 table and ColumnStackPosition value, but never got that to work either so it isn't any real work-around we have for this either.
