We have a POS system where the swipe in the HP keyboard stopped working. We have purchased a replacement keyboard of the exact same model. When we swipe credit cards it puts a B at the beginning and some extra characters at the end. HOw do we correct this? We just want the CC number.

I have been unable to find anything on the HP website about how to configure this swipe. However, on the PCAmerica website I believe I found for what I am looking.

It's a configuration issue with the MSR, please refer to the H/W vendor on how to reconfigure it
