Do these fields get hidden when you run your layout directly from "Report layouts"? If so, please set it as the default.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

You could always just delete those fields so they aren't in that report layout at all.

Also make sure to select Update and export layout and then re-import it. Set the new layout as the default format (either Word or RDLC) in the Report Layout Selection page.

    Hello,
Your report extension layout is published, but Business Central does not automatically use it. Open Report Layouts, filter by the Purchase Order report ID, select the RDLC layout added by your extension, and choose Set as Default; also check Report Selections – Purchase to confirm the Purchase Order is using the same report ID. The blank preview usually means the RDLC was created for a different report dataset or the original layout wasn’t used as the starting point—download/export the current Purchase Order RDLC layout, hide the Discount and Allow Invoice Discount textboxes/columns in Report Builder, add that edited file to the report extension, republish, and then select it as the default layout. A report extension adds a new layout; it does not modify the existing built-in layout.

The report is showing those blank values because the Visibility property in Report Builder was only applied to the textbox. This means the field data is hidden, but the column itself is still there, which creates that annoying blank space in the report.
If you want to completely remove the Discount and Allow Invoice Discount sections from the report layout, you’ll need to hide or remove the entire column. You can do this by adjusting the Column Visibility from column visibilty or by deleting the column directly from the layout, instead of just hiding the textbox.
Update these changes, save the layout, update the report extension, republish it, and also set it as the default layout from the Report layout.

Hii there as per requirement you are just hiding column. so for that you can just download rdl file from business central ,

add colour and for that column update property to hidden column = true . as with colour you can identify that your columns update is worked or not also. for this you need to update layout default run like below snapshot , also which was added by YUN ZHU .

    just import custom layout .

and in report it will open layouts list from here just update to set as default .

it will provide you expacted output.

if you found answer , Mark It Verified.
    Thank You.
