workflow to send one email for multiple field changes

Hello all,

I want to set up a workflow so that when a particular type of customer's mailing address is updated (Address 1, Address 2, Address 3, City, State, Zip), an email notification goes out to a team of users.

However, I only want one email to go per update --- regardless of whether just a single field is updated (say, Address 1) or the entire address is replaced. Obviously I don't want to set it to fire on changes to any of those six fields, and then have six emails triggered if all the fields are changed at once.

I've concluded this can't be done with just a workflow. Am I right? If anyone knows of a way, I'd love to hear it!

Hi,

As Andrew told, even you changed one field or 3 fields or 6 fields, Email will send only one time. Change Trigger point will be like OR condition. it will check any of the field changed and then directly enter in to Action.

Erika,

Even all 6 fields are changed during one Save operation - only one email will be sent. So you can go and use workflow for that purpose without worrying that your team will get 6 emails.
