I'm getting System Message 5602 - Only one application server per machine is allowed - on a server that's been running application server for months with no problems. I've rebooted it, completely deleted the application server and recreated it, and can't find anything that would indicate *why* SL thinks it already has an instance of application server running. If I log in as the application server user to a different computer, it runs fine - so it's something specific with this server.

Has anyone run into this and knows how to correct it?

Hi Kiara,

Please try running select * from appserver against your sytem DB. There should only be one record in that table that corresponds to your app server. If there is more than one, you may need to backup the database and manually delete both/all records and set up your app server intance again.

You could have a hung record in the access table in the system DB.

select * from Access where InternetAddress like '%ApplicationServerName%'

Logout of SL on the application server and it should not exist in the access table. If it does delete the hung records.
