Voucher balance consult error 91

Hello,

We are using HQ Dynamics RMS in Windows 10 and SQL Express 2017. When we do a voucher balance query fron a remote POS , the voucher hq client shows the error:

<<openrsread>> error 2147217900 Incorrect syntax near '*='

<<HQMessageProcessor>> Error 91: Objet Variable or With Block Variable not set (unhandled error)

Everything was working very well with windows 7 and SQL Express 2005, but we lost the server and it was re-installed with winodws 10 and SQL 2017.

    Hi Juanchochang,

    I am not sure what was re-installed on Windows 10 and SQL 2017 (POS, HQ, SQL Database, etc.)

    Some things to check:

    1. Can you check the version of HQ Client, HQ Server, Voucher Client, Voucher Server, Store Operations Administrator and Headquarters Administrator to ensure they are all on the same version of RMS?
    NOTE: This can be found in Help >> About.

    2. Is the Database version the same on Store Operations Administrator and Headquarters Administrator?

    NOTE: You can find this by connecting to the; and selecting Upgrade on the Database menu:

    3. What is the compatibility level of the HQ database?
    NOTE: This can be found by looking at the Options in the Properties of the database in SQL Server Management Studio; and even on my Windows 10 machine, running a recent update of SQL, the level should be 80.

    Please note that mainstream support for Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 ended on July 10, 2016; and extended support ends on 7/13/2021:

    This is less than 18 months from now; and you can continue using RMS after this date but technical support will not be available.

    This is probably RMS (Retail Management System) question and it is not related to Dynamics 365 Retail/Commerce,.

    I would suggest you to also raise this in the Microsoft Dynamics RMS Forum if possible.
