Hi Mohammad,
What data source are you using? What do you mean with "add look up"? Is it adding the column or including a lookup form? Can you share a screenshot to illustrate your question?
Hi Andre,
as per below form I have employee field that has lookup on employees, this field is of type int64 and has EDT of type refrecid, and it is working fine on the form where it gets automatically the employee that is linked to the user that is logged in.
however on the mobile workspace, I was able to use look up on all fields in the form except for the employee as per below
as for other fields like absence code the look up works fine as per below
From what exact list page did you initially select the fields for the mobile workspace?
am using it from the below list page, and the create action has the fields from the create button of the list page .
List Page
Create action from this page
click on new
then this form open where I select the fields for the create for the mobile workspace, where I can not look up the employee on the mobile workspace
Hi Muhammad,
Is this Leave request a customization or part of an add-on? If so, I can't verify it with a mobile workspace in my environment.
It is the absencerequestheader and absencerequestlines tables and we added customizations to it, how can I add a logic to this field to automatically get the employee that is linked to this user, no need for drop down from the mobile workspace, just when a user try to create leave from mobile, the employee field automatically propagate with the linked employee.
Thank you,
These tables are not part of the standard solution. At least I don't have them in my environment. Or is it e.g. related to Talent? Can you check in which model these tables are created?
Thank you for your support, no its not related to talent, they are in custom model that we have created,
my question is how can i do this business logic to automatically propagate this field for the employee that is linked to the user, is it doable through java script or how ?
I haven't created complex mobile workspaces myself. You can find some details how to create a lookup on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch
This video and some more are part of the Microsoft Documentation on mobile workspaces: docs.microsoft.com/.../mobile-platform-home-page
Thanks a lot Andre for your continuous support.
