Add Transaction Comment or Reference Number to Customer Statement

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I can sort of figure out the XML language for making changes to the statement template, I just don't know the name to use to show the transaction comment or transaction reference number in the account activity detail section.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks Hotrod or should I say Doug. I tried that and it didn't print anything.

I put in a Transaction comment for each store charge and would like to see each of those comments print on the statement in the Account Receivable Activity section.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hi SammySue,

    Use the following:

    <ROW> "Comment |" Transaction.Comment  </ROW>

    <ROW> "ReferenceNumber |" Transaction.ReferenceNumber  </ROW>

    Hope this helps,

    Hotrod
