Unable to connect to home page metrics URL

Posted on by 860

I have just upgrade to GP 2010 and I am using Sql Reporting Services 2008.  When I go to Report Manager I see the reports for my company but I do not see reports for Charts and KPIs.  When I go to configure my metrics I am receiving the error 'Unable to connect to the have page metrics URL".  This user has full security in Report Manager.  Why can't I see these Charts and KPIs and what do I have to do in order to see them.

Thanks,

Amy

How and where do I do this?  Is this for all users of charts and KPIs?

    Thanks,

    Amy

    Amy,

What are you entering in the reporting tools setup window?  Make sure the URL ends in ReportService2005.asmx (SQL 2008 native mode) or ReportService2006.asmx (SQL 2008 SharePoint integrated mode).

    Thanks

    Rob

    Amy,

I ran into this problem with a client.  I had to give the users AD accounts access to the SQL Server Reporting Services site.

    Hope this helps

I am not able to see any Charts and KPIs folders and yes I I do have the checkbox checked for enable SQL Reporting Servers Home Page Metrics.  I can see all the other SQL reports in Report Manager.  I just can't see Charts and KPIs???

Are you able to see the Charts and KPI folders them selves and nothing under those or no Charts and KPI folders at all?

In Reporting Tools Setup, do you have the checkbox checked to enable SQL Server Reporting Services Home Page Metrics?
