We have price list for a specific customer which we enterd through price list utilies.
When we enter an invoice for that customer it displays the default price llist from the item.
We then have to go ithrough item inquiry and into the price list and check off the customer price then vheck it back on
and then safe it and then the item comes up correctly.
hoping there is an easier way.
Thanks,
Tom
these are screen shots That I am talking about.
The customer has a price level os AMA108 and a price list was entered for items with a same price level.

Donner,
This is not what I call a "screenshot" in the real sense of it... pictures taken from a phone and then pasted into a PDF or Word document are not going to do a good job.. Those are barely readable, not to speak they are turned 90° to the side.
Every Windows computer today has a built-in screen capture tool that is called "Snipping Tool" which does a great job of taking screenshots. Please do yourself a favor and retake those with a proper tool..
The "All" checkbox gets checked when your price list item is only one line of all quantities.
Just to verify again (because I am having a bit of trouble reading the screenshots):
1. In Item Price List Maintenance for the item you're entering on the sales order, do you have a corresponding Price Level ID in the grid that you entered in the customer card?
2. The Default Price Level field in Item Price Maintenance: is that price level ID entered in the grid?
3. It looks like you are getting this error in Sales Transaction Entry because GP is looking up the price level ID for the customer, not finding it, then attempting to use the Default Price Level field, not finding that in the price lists for the item and then giving you the error.
Joe
these are the steps via screen shots
Thank you for the version screenshot..
Now you might be providing a few more to document the steps you were talking about in your OP and that Becky was trying to understand..
this is the version I have
Danner,
you can paste screenshots directly into the answer here.. just hit CTRL-V
As for your GP issue, you seem to be on an old version, and you may want to look to perform the same test on a more recent GP version to see if it work correctly.
Sorry I can't seem to find a way to insert screen shots
it is on the item price list it is the third column .
item #, U of M, All ( this is thecolumn with the check marks)
Hello Tom,
Can you send me a screenshot of what checkbox you are unmarking?
