Hi,

I have a strange issue in the Report for the font 3 of 9 Barcode.  While previewing as well as while printing as PDF (the option from the Request Page) the report, the barcode is shown correctly, but while using the REPORT.SAVEASPDF, the Barcode is shown as the Arial Font characters.

Any idea?

    Hi,

    Please try to open this PDF with other reader.  (For example Foxit Reader)

    I have the same issue but can't find the problem. I change font to picture to solve this issue.

    then it was maybe an issue with the metadata.

    restart rocks always ! ;-)

    Hi all,

    At last, I restarted the computer and it worked.  Something strange is that SAVEASWORD and SAVEASEXCEL displayed barcode character even without restarting the computer.

    Hi Stefano,

    Did you tried the font Segoe UI, this is the standard font in  most of the reports. 

    Design any report in VS, change a textbox or more to the font Segoe UI. Save, compile and run report and export to PDF.

    In Acrobat select "File / Properties"

    Select "Fonts" tab.

    Verify that the Segoe UI font is included in your PDF file.

    did you restart nav service ?

    I have already tried with a variety of fonts available.

    try with different barcode fonts. maybe rendering cannot handle that font.

    I am trying this on the NAV Server itself, coincidentally, the REPORT.SAVEASWORD and REPORT.SAVEASEXCEL give me correct result, but not REPORT.SAVEASPDF
