Dates in "Job Planning Lines"

Hi:

In the Job Planning Lines window, every time you change the Planned Delivery Date, it changes the Planning Date to that date. We do not want these dates linked, as Planning Date is our invoicing date.

Also, the Planned Delivery Date is used as our “Expiration Date” for licenses and pre-paid work. We would like to change the name of this field, then, to "Expiration Date".

Would these to efforts require development?

Yes, if you are requirement is not fulfilling by standard system, so you need to customize that.

I think BC doesn't have such standard feature that meet this requirement.

I am looking to utilize the dates like this although I cam having the same issue / functionality issue on the dates all changing together / not being able to change the wording.

Planning date- RDSL

Enter Right Away

Planned Delivery Date- PDSL

Enter After PO is created and dates are shown

Currency- Revised Delivery Date

Scrub jobs daily. Update if needed.
