Benefit status change notifications?

A great Friday to all...

  • Microsoft managed to clear an issue with D365HR benefits module with the fix release SEP20.

  • At the moment I am trying to go through the module, however cannot seem to find a way how to notify the HR department once an employee chooses (opt in/out) or changes a certain benefit in their self service.

 

  • I have been told that a work-flow is not possible in this case and all I can see is the manual view per benefit - check people under said benefit - filter by active and non active - further filter drill down by status / approved.

 

Would Power Automate be the only option or there is something I am missing here?

    Hi Farouk,

    There is benefits notifications feature on the roadmap planned to be available in public preview in December 2020.

    But, the feature you should be looking at based on your requirement is the benefits management workspace that is planned in the release 2020 wave 2 roadmap:

    I think this will support your requirement to highlight the actions that the HR teams will have to take.

    Hi Farouk,

    As Kamal mentioned it is planned for Dec 2020. If this an urgent requirement for your business need then you can still use Power automate. It is still an option.
