I know it can be done, I am just missing it somewhere.
Client has a class of user that are not to have access to Smartlist. I know, why - but that is not important.
I am just missing the easiest fix and am drawing a blank on where to go.
Thanks.
Sounds like you figured it out, but yes, by default users won't have access to the SmartList reports or objects without giving the user access, short of PowerUsers.
SmartList Favorites would work differently, as those are specified whether we want to give those permissions to System, Company, User or User Class when the Favorites are created.
Thanks
Well that was eye opening. I posted this and then looked at one more document I had from way back and found want I needed.
All in the Default User Role - had to simply look at Smartlist objects and press a few buttons and Smartlist options are gone from the selected class.
Made of copy of the Default User Role and created it for the specific class as required.
