SharePoint 2010 - CRM 2016 List Component

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We are in process of upgrading from on-premise CRM 2011 to on premise CRM 2016.  Currently connected with on -premise SharePoint 2010 which I believe would continue .

Is the CRM 2016 list component for sharepoint 2010 required ?  There is a list component currently installed  - crm 2011 version for sharepoint 2010.

Currently when adding the url for the sharepoint environment in CRM (document management area) it errors out with a sql timeout. Not sure if it might be related to list component version.

Regards,

Yes, SharePoint 2010 needs to be at least SP2 as well.
