I am using "Collection Manager" role in D365 and trying to create alert rule but couldn't able to create it. The create alert rule form is greyed out and I can only view the alert details but I cannot create it. I have tried with other roles as well but couldn't able to create the rule except the "System Administration".
I want to know the security privileges/duties that needs to be assigned to "Collection Manager" role to create the alert rule in D365.
Hi Adnan,
The Create alert rule will inherit the permissions from the user for the form on which the user wants to set an alert. To have the user being able to set up the rule correctly, you would need to provide full permissions. (menu item CustCollectionsPoolsListPage).
Hi Andre,
The issue is resolved. Thank you
