Enable workflow for Reopen on Sales Order

Dear Experts,

I have one customer requirement. The customer wants the workflow to be enabled for Reopen functionality on the Sales & Purchase documents.

I have referred some of the links Online, but they didn't help me,

My question here is, Do I really able to do it? if so how? and if not please suggest how I can develop the functionality?

Thanks in advance. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    Don't think you can do that in standard.

    You will need to customize it to be able to trigger the workflow when requesting approval on released.

    I think this would be bigger customization right?

    Is there a way to handle it by creating user permissions? or any other way?

    If you are not used to modify the approval logic, it is pretty hard to do it. Maybe medium customization.

    Don't think there is other way.

    Hi Avinash,

    What I can suggest is that you will need a boolean field to toggle the ReOpen visibility button on the Purchase and Sales Header. By default it will be set to false.

    Now, you can create a custom workflow which when approved will toggle the field.
