How we can show/hide alphabet bar displayed at the bottom of grids?
Is there any settings or configuration exists through which we can achieve this?
This should happen in both classic as well as in unified service hub app (Customer service hub app)

If you open up the classic form editor select this option save and publish. The uncheck and publish again it should remove the index

I'm sorry that I've found from the Web but there is no relevant content about this.
Logically speaking, if you are using Online instance, there is no way to achieve this and I've only found this page for you.

If you are using on-premise instance, it is possible because all the front-end code is on the server so that you could find the code of displaying the alphabet module bar and hide it.
You could also raise an idea to Microsoft Product Team.

As far as I know, it's not possible to configure this, or show/hide it
