Xrm.Utility.LookupObject control's customfilter is not working in UCI

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I have a requirement where to filter the color lookup field based on shade lookup field's value, it was working fine in normal crm client but it doesn't show any result in unified interface using the Xrm.Utility.LookupObject.

I've attached the screenshot regarding the same.

Any help would be appreciated.

In above screenshot there is a two value of shade lookup which are shade1 and shade2 , in shade1 there is a value  yellow & grey and in shade2, values are Red and Black. but while i'm selecting shade 1 or shade 2 it shows all this values as shown below,

    Hi Lu Hao,

I tried to follow the approach which is mentioned in the link shared by you. But unfortunately, the filters are not working for UCI.

Can you help me out on this?

    TIA.

    Hi Patel,

    Please refer to this blog:

    [View:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/54133422/lookup-field-with-custom-filter-not-working-properly-in-uci:750:50]

This blog has the essence of how we're filtering lookups in both the UCI and Legacy UI in a v9.1 system.

You could refer to it to improve your code.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Lu Hao
