New Company in Dynmics GP, doesn´t show its name at the bottom of the program screen

Hi,

 I created a new company in Dynamics GP 2016R2 and it does not show the name at the bottom of the program screen
see image.

The name of the company I refer to is where you can make the change for another company.

My version of Dynamics GP is: 2016 R2 - 16.00.0620

Who can help me in this case I would greatly appreciate

    Do you get this on multiple installs of Dynamics GP or just one or two?

    I've never seen this issue, though if you're able to run Utilities fine and select the company database when logging into Dynamics GP, as well as log into it, it appears that the database was completed when created, so based on that, plus not having any third-party products installed, my initial thoughts is that something is damaged or corrupted in the dictionary files.

    You can try renaming the Dynamics.dic to be something like Dynamicsold.dic, then run a Repair of Dynamics GP through Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, which will re-create a new Dynamics.dic file, then launch Dynamics GP and see if that resolves it or not.

    Nice to meet you,

    Can you launch GP Utilities and please confirm whether or not the issue occurs after running it? GP utilities run successfully without errors.

    When launching GP, are you given the option to select the company? Yes.

    Are there any third party application(s) installed? No.

    This is a copy of the Dynamics.set file.

    If this does not solve the issue,

    When launching GP, are you given the option to select the company?

    Are there any third party application(s) installed? if so, will it be possible, to provide a copy of the Dynamics.set file.
