AP Batch Transaction Security

Is it possible to provide a user inquiry access to batch transaction level detail in accounts payable without providing any edit capabilities? We have an approver that needs to be able to see the transactions in the batch, currently they cannot. Our WF doesn't always send the edit list attachment that provides the batch details (working on this with MS on a separate ticket) From what I can tell I cannot provide inquiry only to the transaction level you are only able to get to that level with edit capabilities.

aliciaw, Field Level Security is an option but I don't think it will be very smart option. For your issue I have done similar kind of customization where user with no edit capabilities can have un-editable view of window, or open zoom windows for user to show documents either from the batch window or 3rd party custom window.

You can PM me if you need the similar customization in reasonable hourly rate .

Thank you for submitting your question on the Forums. You may be able to use Field Level Security so the user would not be able to save the record after making a change. Here is a link with more information:
